A dialysis technician is trained to set up and operate a hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment. Dialysis treatment is administered to patients with kidney or renal failure.   Your job would also entail preparing the patients physically for their treatment as well as explaining what you are about to do. You will also be required to ensure patient safety and that equipment is operating properly during the treatment.
Dispensing opticians interpret optical prescriptions, and will fit and service optical aids such as frames for glasses and lenses.
