Addictions counsellors fall under the umbrella of psychology as the basis for this career.  It’s estimated that around 11% of South Africans suffer from different forms of addictions.  As an addictions counsellor, your role will be to help change the patterns of addicts and to help them understand the underlying factors of why they are addicts. 
The role of a Clinic Manager is to plan, coordinate, direct and evaluate provision of specialised health services in a clinics. 
Homeopathy is a branch of alternative medicine that treats the immune and defence systems. Homeopaths do not use pharmaceutical drugs to treat their patients, instead, they assess the whole person and will prescribe remedies using minute amounts of natural remedies made from substances such as plants and minerals.

Psychiatrists are specialists in mental health issues. Unlike psychologists, psychiatrists are medical doctors who can prescribe medication.  They diagnose, assess, treat and prevent human mental, emotional and behavioural issues.  Psychiatrists often deal with very complex and chronic mental health cases.
